Deborah M. Caruso

She joined VA Medical Center in Bath, New York in 2008. Ms. Caruso is a licensed RN and served in the role of Evening Supervisor, Nurse Manager of Acute Care and ICU, and Nurse Manager of Ambulatory Care clinics to include the CBOC’s and Rural Health Clinics.

In 2015, She detailed as the Medical Care line Manager for 3 months which involved coordination of day to day operations, personnel management, and fiscal oversight of all medical related services. Simultaneously, she was promoted to Associate Chief Nurse of the Medical Care line.  In 2016, Ms. Caruso transferred to Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System as Chief Nurse for Ambulatory Care. She accepted the position of Administrator of the Coastal Clinics in 2018 and is stationed at the Wilmington Health Care Center. 

Ms. Caruso holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from SUNY Geneseo, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Elmira College and a Master’s Degree in Management from Keuka College Accelerated Program.
