Alan Trinh

Previously he served as the Chief of the Office of Strategic, Facility and Master Planning for VAGLAHS.  Alan was responsible for leading the development and implementation of major capital planning activities that drive growth and innovation across a $1.4B+ healthcare system caring for nearly 90,000 Veterans at eleven sites spanning over 20,000 square miles. Alan also oversaw the development and implementation of the congressionally mandated West Los Angeles Master Plan and its activities for the development of 1,200+ units of permanent supportive housing for homeless Veterans valued at over $1.2B and synchronizing them with the planned construction of a new $2B research, ambulatory, and critical care complex, ensuring alignment with VA’s healthcare priorities and coordination with all VAGLAHS-wide strategic planning and redevelopment initiatives.  With over 20 years of experience in acquisition and logistics, and projects and program management, Alan has implemented innovative strategies and initiatives to drive growth, efficiency, and effectiveness within healthcare systems. He is committed to providing the highest level of care to Veterans and is dedicated to enhancing the overall healthcare experience for Veterans and their families.
