Volunteer or donate

Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System depends on the goodwill of our supporters. You can make a difference when you help us serve our Veterans.

Become a Volunteer

Join our volunteer team and experience the rewards of helping our nation's Veterans.  Our goal in the CDCE office is to ensure that our volunteer experience at any of our facilities is as rewarding to the volunteer as it is beneficial to the patients, families, visitors, and caregivers.

Volunteers can perform a number of services in both clinical and non-clinical areas. Volunteer’s talents and interests are used to match them to one or more of our available assignments where they would be able to provide the most impact.

The Volunteer Onboarding process includes:

  • Submitting a request to volunteer https://www.cdceportal.va.gov
  • Completing an application and all necessary screenings (health and background)
  • Completing orientation

For more information, please contact our CDCE team:

Corporate, Business, & Group Opportunities

The CDCE office is more than happy to work with groups to discuss volunteer projects, collection drives, events, and donations. We will work together to determine how to best serve our Veterans and meet the needs and skills of your employees, community group, and/or members. This can be a great opportunity for your group to give back to your Veteran community while helping the VA carry out its mission to “Serve those who Served”.
