Why VA Houston: As I searched for residency programs, my main goal was to find a teaching institution with a supportive learning environment for its residents while offering unique experiences to grow and advance professionally as a new pharmacist.

VA Houston provides a variety of outpatient and inpatient elective opportunities for its residents to serve those in need in a collaborative interdisciplinary environment. Personally, I love that this VA is in Houston, a melting pot of cultures, which allows me to serve men and women Veterans of diverse backgrounds!
