Why VA Houston: I had the opportunity to complete my Geriatrics APPE rotation at VA Houston. As a student, I felt welcomed by the pharmacy staff, veterans, and other health professionals. I chose to complete my PGY1 residency at VA Houston for the collaborative interdisciplinary environment, diversity of rotations, and versatile teaching experiences.

Following my PGY1 residency, I decided to early commit to the PGY2 ambulatory care program to further challenge myself to practice at the top of my license. VA Houston has provided the perfect environment for me to grow clinically, while serving our veterans. I am so happy to continue my training as a PGY2 ambulatory care resident VA Houston!
