Why VA Houston: During my APPE rotation at VA Houston as a P4 student, I was able to witness a collaborative learning environment where the clinical pharmacist was a valuable member of the interdisciplinary team. Since I have started as a PGY-1 resident, it has been clear that the preceptors here truly invest in our learning and support us during our transition from student to practitioner.
VA Houston also offers a robust range of inpatient and outpatient rotations for residents who may have varied interests. It’s been an excellent year so far and I look forward to the rest of my learning opportunities!
