When you use VA urgent tele-health care, your primary care team will have easy access to your urgent care tele-health call record, allowing for a smooth follow-up process to help coordinate your recovery.

  • If you have a non-life-threatening illness or injury, call (317) 554-0000, press ‘3’ and ask for the triage nurse team. 
  • Review your symptoms and situation with the nurse. 
  • The nurse will recommend care options that are best for you.
     

Non-VA Emergency Department
If you go to a non-VA Emergency Department, tell them when you check in that you are a Veteran enrolled with VA care. Be sure to call 844-724-7842 within 72 hours of your arrival time at a non-VA ER to report your care.
