(Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center (GVSMVAMC) is proud to announce its first Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic of the flu season, scheduled for Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The clinic will take place at the west entrance of the main campus in Jackson, Mississippi.
Jackson VA to host Stand Down Event for Homeless Veterans
September 19, 2023The G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center will host a Stand Down for Homeless Veterans on Friday, September 22, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will take place at The Salvation Army, located at 570 E Beasley Road, Jackson, MS 39206.
The Next PACT Act Deadline: Health Care Enrollment for Mississippi Veterans who deployed to Combat Zones
September 06, 2023Until 11:59pm local time on September 30, 2023, Veterans who deployed to a combat zone, never enrolled in VA health care, and left active duty between September 11, 2001 and October 1, 2013 are eligible to enroll directly in VA health care.
