It's Flu Shot Season
It's time to get your flu shot.
The drive-thru will be open from Tuesday - Thursday each week from 12:30 - 3:15 p.m. and no appointment is necessary. Please bring a valid government-issued ID (i.e. Veterans Health ID Card, DoD ID Card or other valid government ID).
For those who can't make it to our drive-thru, flu vaccines will also be available through your Primary Care Provider during a previously scheduled visit beginning September 26, 2022. Please contact your Primary Care Provider for an appointment.
Veterans enrolled in VA health care can get a free flu shot at:
- VA health care facilities
- Community retail pharmacies and urgent care providers (in VA’s network)
Find a facility near you and call before you visit to be sure flu vaccine is available.
Flu – short for influenza – is a respiratory illness that spreads easily from person to person.
Flu vaccination is your best protection against the flu, which usually begins in the fall and can continue through late spring. Everyone age 6 months and older should get the vaccine.
