Research
Madison VA Hospital and Clinics strive to offer top-quality services, supporting VA researchers in their basic and applied research.
Why VA research matters
Research studies are crucial because they provide:
- A structured method to learn more about specific issues
- Answers to whether a treatment works
- Insights into which health care services are effective
- Chances to test the safety and effectiveness of drugs or equipment
- Solutions on how to best treat or prevent illnesses
Join a research study
VA researchers rely on volunteers for their studies. If you choose to volunteer, you can change your mind at any time and your decision to participate will not impact your VA benefits.
