Hannah Cunningham is a member of the next generation of VA Health Care Providers. She shares her story with us about her journey in this field and experiences with the VA Nurse Practitioner Residency Program.

When I first stepped into the role of Veteran Experience Officer for the Marion VA Health Care System in May 2023, our Trust Score stood at 91.8%, and we were ranked 5th in our region (VISN). Fast forward to today, and I am proud to report that our Trust Score has surged to first place with 94.4%.

At 101 years old—and soon to turn 102 in a few days—Clyde Edwards is a living testament to a century of service, survival, and unexpected kindness. Recently, this World War II veteran sat down to share his story, his voice steady with the humility and strength that define him.

At 98—and soon to be 99—Mr. Gentry stands as a living testament to a generation that marched into history with courage, heart, and enough wit to brighten even the toughest days.
