Their stories inspire us. Their selflessness moves us. Our dedicated volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization, making a difference in the lives of our beloved Veterans every single day.

“We have worked diligently toward making our café a place of community, so I feel that we offer just that… a community and a place to meet, talk, laugh, and connect. We all need that place, those moments where you feel heard, appreciated, or seen. We offer that place,” Shares Shelley with a smile.

“With the compassionate care corps, we have volunteers that call the Veteran and that may be the only opportunity that the Veteran gets to talk with someone different in weeks,” shares Kim Coloni, CDCE Specialist.
