What is Your Why?

What is Your Why?
By Willy Martinez, Public Affairs Specialist

Their stories inspire us. Their selflessness moves us. Our dedicated volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization, making a difference in the lives of our beloved Veterans every single day.

Ever wondered why they do it? We asked them, and their answers warmed our hearts. For some, it's a way to pay tribute to those who served our country. For others, it's about giving back to a cause close to their hearts. But for all of them, it's about making a meaningful impact on the lives of our Veterans.

"I have been volunteering for the VA for a couple of years now and I am very blessed to have the support of my community. Together, with the community, we have raised over $12,000 worth of products (food and clothing) for our Veterans.

I do this because my husband was a Veteran, my step-father, my son in law, we have many, many Veterans in our family. They stood for our country and family. Now it's time that we stand for them!"
