The VA Maryland Health Care System, in partnership with the Maryland National Guard, is holding a Walk-In COVID-19 Booster Shot Clinic at the Baltimore VA Medical Center at 10 North Greene Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.

When the pandemic forced volunteer Cassandra Compton Kapoor to refrain from her usual volunteer activities in the Emergency Room at the Baltimore VA Medical Center, she signed up to participate in the Compassionate Contact Corps Program.

Later this summer, a major construction project is scheduled to begin in the parking garage at the Baltimore VA Medical Center (VAMC) that will require the garage to be closed until the completion of the project (approximately 2 to 3 months).

Last July, 32 Veterans receiving care at the VA Maryland Health Care System participated in a local Veterans Creative Arts Competition. Nationwide, thousands of Veterans receiving care at other VA facilities participated in their own competitions.
