Renee Fancher MSN, RN, NE-BC

Mrs. Renee Fancher, an Army Veteran, is the Acting Associate Director of Patient Care Services (ADPCS) for Memphis, as of November 4, 2024.  Prior to this role she is the sitting VISN 9 Deputy Chief Nursing Officer (DCNO) since 2023.  She is responsible for network level oversight of Telehealth and Rural Health Veterans care, Nursing Qualification Standards, Care Coordination and Integrated Case management (CCICM), Clinical Contact Center (CCC),Nursing Operations, and Nursing Informatics. 
Mrs. Fancher has been employed by the Veterans Health Administration in Chief Nurse of Mental Health and Chief Nurse of Acute Care roles and served as Acting Deputy Associate Director of Patient Care Services, at the Tennessee Valley Healthcare System within VISN 9, with oversight of Acute Care, Intensive Care Units (ICU), Emergency Departments, Inpatient and Outpatient Mental Health, Bone Marrow transplant, Palliative Care, and Discharge Coordination. 
Prior to the VHA, Mrs. Fancher has held a wide variety of clinical and leadership roles within the private sector. She has been an Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit nurse, ground life flight nurse, Nurse Manager in Emergency Department and ICU settings, BSN Nursing instructor, Quality and Safety Chief, and Executive Director of Psychiatric Assessment Services.
