Nursing Job Fair

Memphis VA is hosting an on-site job fair on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from  8 a.m. to 12 p.m.  Any  Registered Nurses that are interested in applying for a position MUST Register by July 13, 2023 by completing the event registration.

Basic Requirements for Registered Nurse:

·         * Citizen of the United States

·         * Graduation from School of Nursing – Must be a graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and be accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)

·         * Registration - must have a current, full, active, and unrestricted licenses/registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the US or District of Columbia

·         Physical Standards – must pass the physical requirements

·         English Language Proficiency – must be proficient in spoken and written English language

 

Documents Required for RN:

·         Resume

·         Copy of ACLS/BLS (for RNs) REQUIRED American Heart Assoc.

·         Copy of Transcripts (unofficial)

·         Copy of License/registration

·         Copy of any certification

·         Nurse Salary Questionnaire (for RNs only)

·         Application (10-2850a (for RN only)

·        RN -  3 References  (2 supervisory reference and 1 professional references that can speak to skills)

       

For any candidates that passes the interview process will also do all pre-employment requirements on the same day.
