Haley VAMC in Tampa FL.

While at James A. Haley, Mr. McGahran held several positions in the Mental Health and Social Work services, including Supervisor for the Social Workers in Mental Health and Coordinator of the Health Care for Homeless Veterans and Compensated Work Therapy programs.  Under Mr. McGahran’s leadership, Veteran homelessness in Tampa was reduced by more than 30%.

From 2012-2015, Mr. McGahran was the National Clinical Manager of the Grant and Per Diem Program, within the VA Central Office Homeless Program.  He provided technical and clinical oversight for over 600 transitional housing programs nationally.

We look forward to welcoming Mr. McGahran to the New Mexico VA Health Care System!
