The VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) in Sacramento is celebrating National VA Research Week on May 18th. The event highlights the important work of VANCHCS scientists who are seeking medical breakthroughs and supporting the health of Veterans in our community.

As part of its annual campaign during Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, the VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS) is working to heal the impacts of military sexual trauma (MST) and to inform Veterans who experienced MST about VA’s free recovery related services.

Members of the public can receive assistance disposing of expired prescriptions, including controlled substances, at the Sacramento VA Medical Center’s VA Take Back Day on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The address is 10535 Hospital Way, Mather, CA 95655.

The Department of Veterans Affairs recognizes contributions of VA faculty and academic partners during VA Health Professions Education Week 2023.
