Delays in Community Care Consult Processing and Scheduling at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center in West Virginia

Following an inspection at the VAMC in Martinsburg, the VA OIG determined that there were over 5,000 active consults and that staff took more than 100 days to make the first contact attempt.
