Orlando VA Offers New Socials for Expecting and Postpartum Veterans

This initiative will be  at the Clermont Vet Center, Orlando Vet Center, and the Daytona Beach Vet Center. 

Designed to address the unique needs of Veterans during the pregnancy and postpartum period, the socials will offer a safe place to connect with other Veterans to help foster support, reduce isolation, and develop lasting connections and provide resources. 

“Perinatal Veteran Socials reflects our commitment to providing holistic care for Veterans,” said Melissa Tran, OVAHCS, Reproductive Health Program Manager. “New parenthood can be a lonely experience and we recognize the unique challenges that come during this season, especially for those who have served our country. These gatherings are designed to offer the community, support and resources needed to ensure a healthy and positive experience for both parent and child.”

Veterans interested in participating in the Perinatal Veteran Socials can register by calling Melissa Tran, LMFT at 407–493-1897. Registration not required to attend.
