Summer VetFest Event: Veteran Family Fun Day and Claims Clinic - Wilmington, Delaware

Wilmington VA Medical Center and Veteran Benefits Administration Wilmington Regional Office, supported by New Castle County’s Carousel Park and Equestrian Center will host a Veteran Family Fun Day and Claims Clinic.

Veterans can bring their families to enjoy the day - free of charge! Enjoy hay wagon rides, face paintings, caricature drawings, horse barn tours, New Castle County Mounted Patrol Unit, water ice, and much more. A food truck will be available to purchase food items.

In addition, the following resources will be available to Veterans and Service members - PACT Act brief, VBA Claims Clinic, Toxic Exposure Screenings, VA tables to include, Homeless and Veterans Justice Outreach, Whole Health, Women’s Health, Patient Advocacy, Enrollment, Nutrition and much more! Additional information about New Castle County Department of Community Services’ programs will be on display.

For anyone interested in learning about how the PACT-Act can benefit them – Veterans Town Hall will be held at 11:15am in the main courtyard at Carousel Park. For Veterans or surviving spouses interested in filing a disability claim, a team of Claims Clinic specialists will be ready to assist on-site.
