Our patient advocates are here to help you with any concerns you might have about your care. They are specially trained to assist you in resolving any issues that you haven't been able to solve by talking with your care team.

Our patient advocates are committed to helping you receive the highest quality care. They can assist with:

  • Addressing concerns you may have about your care team
  • Ensuring patients and family members understand their rights and responsibilities
  • Advocating for patient and family rights

How to get help

  • In-person or by phone. You can always stop by the main Patient Advocate Office at our Palo Alto VA, Building 101, second floor, room A2-100, or call .
    Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • By mail. Send a letter to the director at:
