Mr. Miller currently serves the Portland VA Healthcare System in the role of Medical Practice Group Administrative Director.
Mr. Miller currently works closely with the Chief of Staff and service-level leadership to support clinical and administrative staff. Mr. Miller began his VA career in 2015 as an Administrative Fellow in the Graduate Healthcare Administration Training Program (GHAPT). After completing his fellowship, Mr. Miller pursued roles of increasing responsibility in clinical operations, resulting in appointments as the Administrative Director for Hospital and Specialty Medicine for three years and the Administrative Director of Mental Health for two years.
Mr. Miller received his Bachelor’s of Science in Political Science from The College of Wooster in 2004, with a focus on international relations. He then served in the United States Navy, completing deployments to Afghanistan, Korea, and Guam before completing his service in 2012. Mr. Miller then received his Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on healthcare administration in 2015 from Wayland Baptist University.
