David L. Holt MBA, FACHE

Mr. Holt has served Veterans for 29+ years in the VA. Prior to assuming his role as VA Portland Director, he served as Director, Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC) in White City, Oregon since May 2021.  Mr. Holt left VA from 2015 – 2021 serving as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Western State Hospital in Lakewood, Washington. His career spans 33 years of leadership experience and five years of experience as a nurse assistant and recreation therapist across five states including Wyoming, Utah, California, Washington, and Oregon. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and was adjunct faculty teaching MBA and health courses at five southern California universities, including UCLA Extension.
