Caregiving Around the Clock: National Family Caregiver Support Month
November is National Family Caregiver Support Month, a time to recognize and honor the family caregivers who provide vital support to our nation’s Veterans.
VA Providence Health Care joins this celebration by offering a range of services and resources to help caregivers in their important role.
Caregivers often face challenges such as stress, isolation, and financial hardship. That is why VA Providence has a dedicated Caregiver Support Program that can help caregivers with:
- Getting caregiver assistance available through VA
- Matching with services and benefits
- Connecting with local resources and programs
To access these services, caregivers can contact the VA Providence Caregiver Support Coordinator at 401-271-7100 Ext. 13283 or visit the Caregiver Support website. They can also call the VA Caregiver Support Line at 855-260-3274 for immediate assistance and guidance.
VA Providence is proud to serve and support the caregivers of our heroes, not only during National Family Caregiver Support Month, but all year round. We thank them for their dedication, sacrifice, and love.
