VA Providence Hosts Bake Sale and Raffle to Support Local Veterans

Joanne is a veteran herself, with 24 years of service in the Air National Guard as a combat medic and a nurse. This past Friday VA Providence hosted a bake sale and raffle event to raise funds and awareness for local Veterans in need.

The event was organized by the VA Providence Voluntary Service Office as well as the VAVS Committee.. 

The bake sale featured a variety of homemade treats, such as cookies, cakes,  and brownies, made by VA volunteers, and community members. The raffle offered a chance to win one of several baskets containing items such as gift cards, books, candles, coffee, and more.

The event was a success, attracting many visitors and customers throughout the day. The bake sale proceeds will be used to support various programs and services for local Veterans. 

The VA Providence Voluntary Service office thanked everyone who participated and contributed to the event, and expressed their gratitude for the generosity and support of the community.
