VA Providence recently had the honor of welcoming Jon Santiago, the first Secretary of the Executive Office of Veterans’ Services in Massachusetts, and his team for a visit.

It was a fantastic opportunity to exchange ideas and address important issues concerning our Veterans.

During a meeting between Secretary Santiago and VA Providence Director Lawrence Connell, crucial topics such as housing and outreach initiatives for Veterans were discussed. This conversation highlighted our shared commitment to improving the quality of life for Veterans.

Following the meeting, Director Connell gave Secretary Santiago a tour of the VA Providence facility, showcasing our advanced medical services, patient care innovations, and the exceptional work our staff performs daily.

This visit served as a reminder of the significance of collaborative efforts in tackling the complex challenges faced by our Veterans. By working together, we can establish a more robust and supportive network for our Veteran community.
