VA Providence is excited to announce the conclusion of our Spring Resource Fair, hosted by the Homeless Patient Aligned Care Team (HPACT).

This event brought together a variety of resources and services aimed at supporting the well-being and stability of our Veteran community.

The Spring Resource Fair offered attendees access to a suite of services including banking and personal finance advice, wellness training, and health and nutrition guidance. Support services such as smoking cessation programs, suicide prevention resources, and substance abuse treatment and prevention were also highlighted, addressing critical areas of need within the Veteran community.

In addition, the fair provided information on housing options and energy assistance programs, ensuring Veterans have the tools they need to secure stable living conditions. The Veterans Benefits Administration was present to inform Veterans about the benefits available to them, and Narcan information sessions were conducted to educate attendees on overdose prevention strategies.

The event was not only educational but also engaging, with numerous giveaway prizes adding an element of excitement for the participants. The fair underscored VA Providence's commitment to holistic care, offering both immediate assistance and long-term support to our Veterans.

VA Providence extends its heartfelt thanks to all the participants, volunteers, and organizations that contributed to the success of the Spring Resource Fair. Your dedication to serving our Veterans continues to make a profound impact on our community.

We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future and continue to support the health and well-being of our Veterans through comprehensive and accessible services.
