Join us as we welcome home these hometown heroes on Monday, September 16, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at the main medical center lobby located at 1500 Weiss St. Saginaw, MI.

This event provides a remarkable opportunity for older Veterans, aged 55 and over, to engage in sports and competitive events. Aleda’s Athletes medaled in various sports, such as Horseshoes, Boccia Ball, Cornhole, Disc Golf, Shuffleboard, Bowling, Pickleball, 400m Dash, Basketball, and Shot Put. Their achievements stand as a testament to the profound impact on enriching the lives of our senior Veteran population. “Competing with our brothers and sisters we served together side by side, filled us with comradery, discipline, and service before self,” stated Ron Earl, one of the Veteran competitors. “We are all for the same purpose.”
