The 30 day BT timely filing rule is set to be reinstated on 9 June 2023.
Veterans ONLY have until 8 June 2023 to file any travel claims for appointments that have occurred between 20 March 2020 thru 9 May 2023.
If claims have not been filed for those date ranges before 9 June 2023, the claim will not be able to be processed, and the claim will be required to be denied under mandated regulations
Claim liquidation requires proof of attendance for all Community Care Claims. Community Care claims submitted to the BT office with no proof of attendance may be subject to delayed liquidation or denial.
Effective April 1, 2023, masks are longer be required to be worn at the Salisbury VA Health Care System, except for in high-risk areas. Your provider will inform you whether a mask is required to be worn upon arrival for your appointment.
