Job of the Week | Pharmacy Technician

Alexis Russell, VASLC pharmacy technician and Army Veteran, has worked here for nearly nine years. She worked in a retail pharmacy and said the differences between working at the VA pharmacy and retail pharmacy are striking such as no drive-thru, no cash registers, no constant phone calls, and no dealing with insurance companies.

“You get to focus on the pharmacy aspect of it,” said Russell.
