Today, VA San Diego Healthcare System implements COVID-19 Health Protection Levels as part of VA’s consistent, nationwide approach for Veterans Health Administration (VHA) facilities to adjust COVID-19 safety protocols locally as needed.

On March 14, President Biden signed into law H.R. 3665, designating the San Diego VA Medical Center as the Jennifer Moreno Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center and supporting the designation of a prominent space within the facility to honor Kathleen Bruyere. 

San Diego VA Medical Center to be Renamed

VA San Diego Healthcare System will officially transition health care services from its current Mission Valley location to the new Kearny Mesa VA Clinic at 8875 Aero Drive, San Diego, CA 92123, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony in November.
