Booster Shot Eligibility
As of March 30th, 2022, everyone 50 years and older or 18 and older with certain immunocompromised medical conditions are now eligible to get the 2nd Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 booster.
For individuals who received a Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots are recommended for 18 and older and who received their 2nd dose of either series at least FIVE months ago.
For people who received a Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine, booster shots are recommended for 18 and older and vaccinated at least two months ago. Please note per the CDC, in most situations, Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are preferred over the J&J/Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 Vaccine Overview and Safety | CDC
Eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they receive as a booster dose. For example, some people may prefer the vaccine type they originally received, while others may prefer a different booster. CDC’s recommendations allow for this type of mix-and-match dosing for booster shots.
For continued health and safety, minor children are not permitted in our medical facilities at this time.
