The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System status of Veteran Services as of Sept. 11, 2024.

NEW ORLEANS – The Paralyzed Veterans of America, VA and the Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care System will be hosting

The National Veterans Wheelchair Games are co-presented by the Department of Veteran Affairs and the Paralyzed Veterans of America.

The public is invited to a Faith-Based Veterans Information & Benefits Fair at the Franklin Avenue Baptist Church on Saturday, March 23, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The church is located at 8282 I-10 Service Road in New Orleans East.

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the State of Louisiana have launched a program to keep Veterans connected to their VA health care while they travel to the Pelican State.

The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System is accepting donations and recruiting volunteers for this year's annual Stand Down for homeless Veterans, which will be held on October 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Veterans medical center in New Orleans on 2400 Canal Street.

VA now offers all of its most frequently accessed services, including health care, benefits claims assistance, claims updates and verification letters, at the New Orleans Veterans Medical Center at 2400 Canal Street.

The Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System is recruiting volunteer drivers to help Veterans get to and from appointments.

Veterans looking to develop writing skills will have the chance to learn at a free workshop led by award-winning writers at the New Orleans Veterans Medical Center, 2400 Canal Street.
