National Veteran Wheelchair Games Athletes are Ready

New Orleans , LA — NEW ORLEANS – The Paralyzed Veterans of America, VA and the Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care System will be hosting
NEW ORLEANS – The Paralyzed Veterans of America, VA and the Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care System will be hosting the National Veteran Wheelchair Games July 25 – 30, 2024 in sites across New Orleans, LA. With 629 athletes registered to compete in 23 plus different events across 5 different venues, tracking down interviews may prove to be difficult. However, Team SLVHCS has you covered with 3 athletes ready to be interviewed. Interviews, sport demonstrations and tours of adaptive sports therapy areas will be held here at the Southeast Louisiana Veteran Health Care System’s Recreational Therapy Gym. Sports on display at the hospital are Basketball, Cornhole, Football, Rugby, Table Tennis, Boccia. Cycling events, Bowling and 9-Ball are demonstrations will be coordinated upon request. All athletes are local to Louisiana and some are previous medal winners while one is a novice athlete new to the NVWG. So, beat the rush and get some of your interviews and B-roll done early and help us advertise the NVWG to our great city and state. If you are interested, please allow us 3 days lead time from date of request.
