This is one of several classes offered to Veterans amidst recovery.
“Taking Charge of My Life and Health is an amazing class that truly empowers Veterans with skills to better manage health and focus on what is most important to them,” said Samantha Rubinstein, Whole Health Education Coordinator. “It also helps identify and work toward a goal that they want to achieve.”
This Whole Health Pathway is VA’s approach to care that supports your health and well-being by focusing on what matters to you, not what is the matter with you.
The joint venture collaboration between Whole Health and Las Vegas Residential Recovery and Renewal Center (LVR3) team graduated eight Veterans. The 6-week series of classes were facilitated by Whole Health coaches, a peer support specialist and mental health tech from LVR3.
