Current Covid-19 Visitation Status: Due to the increased number of COVID-19 cases in Onondaga County, N.Y., we have increased restrictions to ensure the safety of Veteran patients and staff, and to limit the spread of COVID-19. Currently, visitation is only granted for patients in end-of-life and comfort care situations. Please contact the nursing staff by calling (315) 425-4400-- and ask the operator to connect you with the inpatient unit charge nurse. We strongly encourage the use of electronic methods to stay connected with loved ones using telephone and video calls.
We will regularly re-evaluate these visitor restrictions as we receive updates about COVID-19.
Main Entrance Construction Project Alert: To better serve you, the renovation of our main entrance at Irving Avenue, will begin Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11 a.m. The DAV entrance will be used for patient pick-up and drop-off only until completion of the first phase of this renovation project. Information about phases 2 and 3 will be announced following completion of phase 1. Facility access via the walking ramp from the parking garage will remain open until phase 2 of the renovation takes place.
