JAHVH to host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for new Lakeland Clinic VA Clinic

Tampa , FL — James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Lakeland VA Clinic on Friday, July 26, 2024, at 11 a.m.
The ceremony will be held at 2080 Meadowland Park Blvd., Lakeland, FL 33803. Attendees will include congressional representatives and other dignitaries.
The ribbon cutting ceremony completes the two-year construction project that consolidates and expands the current VA facilities in Lakeland. The new clinic has 121,000 square feet of new usable space. Benefits to patients include increased access to Primary Care, increased access to Mental Health Care, Audiology, an Eye Clinic, Pharmacy, X-Ray, Mammography, and many specialty clinics including Podiatry and Home Oxygen, Prosthetics, and Physical Therapy.
The bright and modern space will serve the growing Veteran population of Polk County.
Speakers at the ceremony will include U.S. Representative Scott Franklin and senior VA officials and will be attended by county and city commissioners.
