Clarksville Veterans encouraged to attend VA PACT Act Fair

CLARKSVILLE , TN — The Clarksville VA Clinic, in partnership with Montgomery County, will host a resource fair April 27 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the William O. Beach Civic Hall to educate Veterans on services and benefits related to toxic exposures.
The event is free and open to Veterans residing in and around the Clarksville area.
Veterans will have an opportunity to learn about VA services and programs, enroll in VA health care, file claims, and complete toxic exposure screenings. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. and VA leadership will discuss the importance of the PACT Act from 11 a.m. – noon.
Veterans are encouraged to bring their DD214 and copies of relevant documentation for their claims.
The PACT Act is a new law that expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances. Visit www.va.gov/pact for additional information and resources.
