National Volunteer Week: John Ang
At Tennessee Valley Healthcare System, John is our first college undergraduate to serve as a volunteer driver within Veterans Transportation Service.
During his interview John stated, “I want to help drive veterans to their medical appointments.” He has availability in the mornings several days a week to assist. We are grateful for his commitment to meet the travel needs of veterans under the medical care of TVHS Nashville.
John is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. He is a neuroscience major in the College of Arts and Science at Vanderbilt University, Class of 2024. Currently, John is waitlisted after his applications to five medical schools. He is hopeful for a selection from the University of Louisville School of Medicine.
