Birmingham , AL — The Birmingham VA Health Care System invites Veterans, family members, and caregivers to the Summer VetFest PACT Act Open House on July 28 at the Birmingham VA East Clinic, 7901 Crestwood Blvd., in Irondale, Alabama.
Summer VetFest PACT Act Open House
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham VA Health Care System invites Veterans, family members, and caregivers to the Summer VetFest PACT Act Open House on July 28 at the Birmingham VA East Clinic, 7901 Crestwood Blvd., in Irondale, Alabama.
Summer VetFest is planned from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., on July 28.
The PACT Act, which President Biden signed into law on Aug. 10, 2022, is the biggest expansion of Veteran health care and benefits in generations. Veterans who apply by Aug. 9 may have their benefits, if granted, backdated to Aug. 10, 2022, the day that President Biden signed the bill into law.
Birmingham VA encourages all eligible Veterans and survivors to apply for their earned PACT Act-related health care and benefits. The PACT Act helps VA deliver care and benefits to millions of Veterans, and survivors, affected by burn pits and other toxic exposures.
