Edivaldo “Eddie” Anjos comes to the Gulf Coast VA Health System from the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System (VISN10)

Mr. Anjos has fulfilled many leadership roles within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for more than 15 years to include Clinic Operations Director at St. Joseph VA Health Care Center, Acting Associate Director to the Salt Lake City VAMC, Chief of Patient Business Service (PBS/HAS/MAS) at the Columbus VA Ambulatory Care Center, Assistant Chief, Medical Administration Service at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System; Team Lead Emergency Management Specialist and oversaw the Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction (OALC) Emergency Preparedness programs for the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Office (VACO) in Washington, D.C.; Non VA Care Program Manager for the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center; Medical Administration Specialist at the Chillicothe VA Medical Center.  In addition, he has federal service as an Operations Support Specialist for the Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Anjos earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master’s Degree in Health Services Administration, both from Strayer University; and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Anjos has also previously worked at the Dayton/Chillicothe VAMC where he started his VA career in 2006 as part of the VHA Technical Career Field (TCF) Program Class of 2008.

Eddie served in the United States Marine Corps from 1992-96 as Presidential Honor Guard in Washington, D.C and Bosnia 1999-2000. He is a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
