Dr. Stephanie A. Repasky is the Medical Center Director of the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System.

Dr. Stephanie A. Repasky comes to the Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System from the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System, serving as the Deputy Medical Center Director since July 2018.

Dr. Repasky began her VA career in 1999 as a pre-doctoral psychology intern followed by a postdoctoral residency, after which she was hired as a clinical psychologist. After Hurricane Katrina, she assisted in the recovery of the health care system in several roles before being hired as the Associate Director with primary responsibility for the activation of a 1.6 million square-foot 200-bed medical facility that was later awarded Project Management Institute Project of the Year.

Dr. Repasky has served in several details including Acting Medical Center Director Fayetteville, AR, Regional Covid Convalescent Plasma Coordinator DHH/Operation Warp Speed, and Associate Director Atlanta VA. She is a member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and ACHE. Dr. Repasky also serves on the New Orleans Mayor’s Military Advisory Committee. She has also served on both the Mayor’s and Governor’s Strategic Planning for Economic Development Committees and was the VA executive on the New Orleans Mayor’s Committee to end homelessness, which was recognized as the first City to functionally end Veteran homelessness. Dr. Repasky is a graduate of the VA Executive Career Field (ECF) Development Program. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Scranton and doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Central Michigan University.
