Jan. 12 in North Chicago, the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center will recognize and thank local landlords who provide much-needed housing to homeless Veterans, and Veterans at risk of becoming homeless.

The Department of Veterans Affairs announced that it permanently housed 51,936 homeless Veterans across the country in fiscal year 2025.
