Lovell Federal health care supports the health, welfare, and dignity of female Veterans and their families by ensuring equal access to timely, sensitive, and quality care. A women Veteran care coordinator can help you get the services you need.

As a woman Veteran, you have the option to be assigned to a primary care provider at one of our different sites who specialize in women’s health. If you have any questions on eligibility or how to get connected to women’s health services, please reach out the women Veterans program manager above.
Care we provide at Lovell Federal health care
Preventative cancer screenings provided include Pap smears and mammograms. We have mammography services conveniently located next to the women’s health clinic.
Maternity services are a part of your VA health care benefits and include all:
- Routine prenatal care
- Lab tests
- Screening for genetic disorders
- Delivery, including follow up postpartum visit with obstetrician (OB)
OB care is provided by authorized community providers.
Maternity care coordination
Maternity care coordination is provided to help Veterans navigate the health care services inside and outside the VA. Lovell has maternity care coordinators that can help Veterans access health care services from pregnancy to one year postpartum. Lactation support is available to Veterans and individualized to meet your needs in-person, telephone or virtually to ensure you have the right support at the right time. We offer support, education, tools and services throughout the entire human milk journey. We offer the full range of reproductive health services including pregnancy options counseling and abortions in certain cases in accordance with generally accepted standards of VA medical practice.
