Mr. Watson joined the senior leadership team as the Associate Director in October 2021.
Mr. Watson has held positions of increasing complexity within VA Maine, starting as an Engineering Intern within the Technical Career Field program in 2008. His roles have included Lead Engineer, Assistant Chief of Facilities, and most recently Strategic Planner/Executive Assistant to the Director. Previously, Mr. Watson held positions in the private sector focusing on efficiencies in design and manufacturing environments. Mr. Watson obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2006 from the University of Minnesota - Duluth and Project Management Professional Certification in 2018. Throughout his career, Mr. Watson has led many initiatives to increase capital program efficiencies and improve quality healthcare environments. He is honored to continue his involvement with the VA Maine Healthcare System community as a part of the Leadership team.
