Martinsburg , WV — The Martinsburg VA Medical Center is hosting a hiring fair June 22nd from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. that will focus on recruiting Medical Support Assistants and Food Service Workers.
The Martinsburg VA Medical Center is hosting a hiring fair June 22nd from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. that will focus on recruiting Medical Support Assistants and Food Service Workers.
Attendees should bring a resume and be prepared for on-the-spot interviews. Attendees will need a picture ID to get onto VAMC campus. Position details below.
Medical Support Assistants, GS5 - $37,696-$49,009: The GS5-MSA duties include, but are not limited to managing patients’ appointments and/or consults; capturing insurance information; updating Veteran demographics; preparing for clinic visits; monitoring both inpatient and outpatient appointments for areas of responsibility. Benefits Package offered including paid time off and retirement package.
Medical Support Assistants, GS6 - $47,789 - $62,122: The GS6-MSA duties includes but are not limited to managing patients’ appointments and/or consults; capturing insurance information; updating Veteran demographics; monitoring the electronic wait list; preparing for clinic visits; monitoring both inpatient and outpatient appointments for areas of responsibility. Benefits Package offered including paid time off and retirement package.
Food Service Workers, WG2 - $20.54 per hour with night, weekend and holiday differential pay: Food Service Workers duties includes providing meals for Veterans and their families; contribute to the preparation of meal items; the assembly of meal trays; delivery of meals to our Veterans. Part-Time (20 hrs/week) and Full-Time (40 hrs/Week) are available. Benefits Package offered including paid time off and retirement package.
