The Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center (formerly known as the Memphis VA Medical Center) is hosting a hiring event on January 31, 2023, for Diagnostic Radiology Technologist/X-RAY.

Basic Requirements for DRT :

  1. Citizenship:   Be a citizen of the United States.
  2. Certification:   All applicants must be certified in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.  Advanced ARRT certification is required for assignments that include computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and Mammography (M) duties.
  3. Education:   Completion of a full-time training course of at least 24 months in duration (or the equivalent) in a post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program.
  4. Physical Standards:   Must pass the physical requirements

 

Required Documents for DRT’s:

  • Professional Resume
  • Certificate of an Associate degree
  • Advanced ARRT certification
  • 3 References ( 2- Supervisory and 1-Professional) references need to be able to speak to applicant’s skills.

For any candidates that passes the interview process, references checks will be conducted on February 1st & 2nd  and selectees will be invited back February 3, 2023, to complete all pre-employment requirements.
