We want to congratulate the Public Affairs Office and Romeo Lucchesi, the Visual Information Specialist at the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center, for winning an Emmy Award this past weekend for the video production entitled, "The Green Beret Who Fought Muhammad Ali".

The story won in the Video Essay category and received the honor over fellow nominees from PBS North Carolina and WTVI. Congratulations to all the nominees for their outstanding work.

We also want to congratulate and acknowledge the role of Mrs. Willie Logan, the former Memphis VA Public Affairs Officer, who was instrumental since the inception of the project.

The video sheds light on the inspiring story of Mr. Henry Hooper, a true hero and U.S. Army Special Forces Veteran. The video takes us through Henry's journey and his incredible match against the legendary Muhammad Ali in the U.S. Olympic Boxing Trials. It's a story of resilience, courage, and determination that inspires us all. Thank you, Mr. Hooper, for allowing us to tell your Veteran story.
