If you are a Veteran who is homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness, we strongly encourage you to contact the National Call Center for Homeless Veterans at (877) 4AID-VET ) for assistance.

Homeless Veterans Program Coordinator

If you know a Veteran who is experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness, refer them to a local VA Medical Center, where our VA staff are ready to help. Veterans and their families can also contact us below to be connected to VA services.

We help Veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to financial hardship, unemployment, addiction, depression, or transition from jail. Contact a VA New Mexico health care homeless services care coordinator to get help with:

  • Referrals to shelters, including both transitional and permanent housing.
  • Job training, life skills development, and education
  • Support with justice system navigation and community re-entry from jail
  • Financial support to prevent homelessness
  • Treatment for addiction and depression
  • Health and dental care
